Ayurveda Explained

March 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest continuously practiced systems of medicine, dates back 5,000 years. This method encourages the maintenance of health through diet, lifestyle, cooking methods, yoga, meditation, exercise, herbal nutrition, and cleansing/rejuvenating therapies. Join Pratibha Shah BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), MPH as she continues discussing the key principles of the Ayurvedic approach. Her pioneering initiatives in this field have brought her to the attention of the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Consulate General of India. She is an editor with the Ayurveda Journal of Health and practices in the Greater Boston area, with clientele throughout US and world. Register to obtain the Zoom link. Sponsored by a generous grant from the Cummings Foundation.
