Join us for a further exploration into the quality of our relationship with the earth. What does it mean to be part of the ecosystem rather than thinking we are the owners of the environment. What do we observe and understand about nature? That includes how nature is affecting us. We can do this exploration through the prism of gardening in our yards, collectively.

On the evening of April 22nd, we will:
Catch up with what has happened to the invasive plants in Linda’s Yard.
In honour of Earth Day, Demetra will show us the proper way to plant a tree and Prassede will talk about how different wildlife is sustained at different tree elevations.
Carol talks about the essential, symbiotic relationship of plants and soil.
We’ll demonstrate building a raised bed container, including investigating the hugelkulture method, in preparation for a vegetable garden.
