Winchester Unitarian Society presents the Kemp Harris trio in an online concert Saturday, April 17th, at 7:00 PM. One of Boston’s most treasured and sought after performers, Kemp Harris is a singer, songwriter, story teller, and master weaver of American music styles, including rhythm and blues, folk, and jazz. Harris (on vocals and piano) will be joined by percussionist Jim Lucchese and bassist Brian Verrochi. Harris brings his intimate performance style and unique powers of observation to bear on what it means to be alive today. “The stories and situations in his songs touch us all and make us think,” observed veteran broadcaster Ron Olesko.
This virtual concert will be streamed live on Zoom from the sanctuary at Winchester Unitarian Society. “Door donations” will be shared by Winchester Unitarian Society and UU Urban Ministry in Roxbury.
