Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North is a compelling documentary that offers a new and provocative perspective on the slave trade. The film follows ten descendants as they journey along the Triangle Trade route, providing viewers an opportunity to reflect on the often untold story of the North’s role in the slave trade and ways to build connections among diverse individuals and organizations today.

We’ll be spending the first 90 minutes or so watching the film, so grab a casual dinner to enjoy during the presentation. After, we will have a discussion about the issues raised in the film, which will be moderated by Dain and Constance Perry, who appear in the film.
